SEPTEMBER 18, 2004: CRY FOR TECHNICAL HELP

I am looking for help from some kind person out there who has the same or similar set up as me. Here is the problem.

I love Logic Audio and have been using it for years. All my track outputs used to come up on my old board in the same order as in the old Mac G4 -- 1 through 32, came up as 1 through 32, for instance.

My new set up is this: 3 Pro Tools HD interfaces Mac G5 dual 2GB, running both Pro Tools and Logic Pro (both very latest updates) Yamaha DM 2000 digital console (latest software update).

Pro Tools track numbers come up on the Yamaha in exactly the same order. Logic track numbers 1 through 8 come up the same in both the Mac and in the Yamaha. Then things get crazy after track 9. Track 9 in Logic comes up on track 11 on the Yamaha. It gets progressively more distant on the next 8 channels. Also, Logic crashes a lot on the alleged bullet proof G5.

As many of you know, Digidesign tech support won't help with Logic Problems and vice versa, and Yamaha doesn't exactly know why this is happening. Maybe it has something to do with the stereo buss of Pro Tools that is not recognized by Logic?

Anyway, does someone know the solution? My set up can't be that unique. Does someone else out there must have the same set up? Please e-mail me at antonyv@earthlink.net.
