MARCH 15, 2005: PROGRESS IN COPENHAGEN

We are settled in Sun Studios, Copenhagen. After 9 days of recording (preceded by 2 days of preproduction and 1 day of getting sounds) we have recorded and nearly completed four songs. The band likes to finish a song completely then go onto the next one. This is a different way of working for me, but I'm enjoying it.

The studio is wonderful, staffed by the friendliest people I've met in ages. The microphone collection contains some legendary mics going back to the 40s, and I'm using them!

I think these first four songs are really great and I'm looking forward to the rest. There is not a filler in this collection.
