MARCH 16, 2004: MIXING AND MORE
I've just finished mixing two live concerts for EMI and DTS in surround sound. They are albums that I produced in the 70s for a renowned British artist who's initials could very well be D.B. The location was Right Track studios in New York City. The projects were mixed on a new Yamaha DM2000 digital console, a dream machine for mixing in surround sound. I loved the Yamaha so much, I bought the company (well, just the console, really).
We were visited by none other than Webmistress Supreme, Carla Rhodes. Carla was in NYC for a series of gigs at various comedy shops. If you ever have a chance to see Ms. Rhodes live, do it!
