This is my first album production with the band. It was done in three major sessions. In the first we recorded the songs composed mainly by Justin and John, then took a break for the summer. Upon returning in September, Justin wrote the compelling title song and John (who has named many of the group's albums) was quick to call it that -- the title track! This song is about a turning point, a revelation that Justin had in his life during the making of this album. It was one of the best Moodies songs in years. I was tickled when I first saw fans pull out little blue glow sticks at live concerts and wave them in a choreographed sequence during the song.

Of course, the big song of this album, "Your Wildest Dreams", put the group on the map again. This tale of lost love made it into the Top 10 on the U.S. charts and brought the Moodies new fans of all ages. Justin was thrilled with the response. The video is heartwarming to watch, with flashbacks where look-alike actors portray the band in their teens alternating with scenes showing Justin's lost love, who finally tries to meet him after a concert but can't reach him before the band is hurried away. This was an award-winning video. The dreamy intro melody was played by myself on a Yamaha DX7 after we lived with Patrick's intro soundscape for weeks. But what a song! It was a dream to produce this one -- it just kept getting better every time we added a new element to it.
